This course is for learners who wish to update or refresh their HSE First Aid at Work Yearly Refresher and basic life support (BLS) skills, it also for those who have a duty of care such as Health Care Professionals, nurses and doctors and CPD points awarded.

About The Event

The First Aid at Work Yearly Refresher Training is specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until requalification training is required.

Successful candidates will leave with a renewed confidence, having had the opportunity to practise essential first aid procedures, as well as learn the latest techniques needed to deal with an emergency situation.

With all subjects covered in just half a day, this course is an ideal way to satisfy HSE requirements whilst minimising disruption to your organisation’s day to day activities! 

Course programme:

This interactive half-day course is delivered using small group scenarios, in a friendly environment. It is designed to bring delegates up-to-date with the latest standards and procedures.

  • Aim and responsibilities of the first aider         
  • Priorities of treatment
  • Primary assessment
  • Adult/child/baby CPR
  • Choking
  • Seizures 
  • Shock 
  • AED training

Notifications by email: 21 – 15 days we refund 75% of the course fee, 14 – 8 days we refund 50% of course fee, 7 days or less no refund of course fee. You may wish to rebook on another date with no loss of refund.
