Whilst all of our courses are available in our Sussex training venues, we are also able to visit your place of work to conduct standard training or bespoke courses which are tailored to your needs.

Garry has been involved in first aid and emergency care for those in need for over 35 years. Garry is author of The UK's first rescue ready medical emergencies in the dental practice manual with flow charts, treatment guides and emergency drug protocols.
Garry is a HCPC Paramedic and brings a wealth of experience with his teaching. As part of this work, Garry has worked in partnership with the West Sussex Fire Service and their co-responding units, delivering Basic Life Support and Automatic External Defibrillation training and teaches ILS training with Virgin Alantic cabin staff.
Garry specialises in medical emergencies with-in the dental practices and teaches in hundreds of dental practices around the UK giving many talks on management on medical emergencies within the dental practices for clients including the BDA and three years running at the Hove Implant Centre, CPD Conference day that is conducted at the University of Sussex.
Garry brings a unique blend of personal experience and many years of practical application to his work. Acknowledged as a dynamic, personable and practical speaker, Garry combines his own experience with his knowledge and sense of humour to effectively communicate his teaching.

Dr Munir has been providing his services for over 10 years.
He is currently a Clinical Lecturer in Conscious Sedation at The Royal London Hospital. He also Lectures postgraduate students attending the Pain Management and Sedation Course at the Eastman Dental Institute. Munir has also been trained in acupuncture for the head and neck region and obtained a Medical Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and runs specialised nervous patient clinics. He completed training as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Kingston and St. Georges Hospitals. During his various postings he was awarded The Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons, England.
He has also completed his postgraduate training in Intra-Venous/Oral/Inhalation (gas and air) sedation at the Eastman Dental Institute. Munir is available by appointment, where he offers the following treatments under local anaesthetic, with or without IV Sedation; general dentistry, routine extractions of wisdom teeth, difficult & surgical extractions of other teeth, retained roots.

Nikki is our Internal Quality Assurer Manager. First aid has been part of Nikki’s life since 1989. Nikki has steadily built her skills and experience in this area and teaching first aid our is her passion.
Nikki is also a Community First Responder tutor and assessor for the South East Coast Ambulance Service and delivers ILS/BLS in our Dental Practices.
As part of her Community Responder and tutor, Nikki has had many opportunities to put into practice many of the practical skills taught in first aid training. Her clinical background has been essential for delivering excellent first aid tuition.

Kas Fletcher has been working closely with David Fletcher and Professor Douglas Chamberlin for many years in teaching and researching outcomes in cardiac arrest. Kas has a great passion for the development of high performance CPR teaching.
Kas has a great passion for her work and gives many presentations on her work with Seattle medic teams in the USA and how Seattle gets the best Cardiac arrest survival rates in the world.
Kas is also a Community First Responder trainer and assessor for the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
As part of her Community Responder and tutor, Kas has had many opportunities to put into practice many of the practical skills taught in first aid training. Her clinical background has been essential for delivering excellent first aid tuition.
Mental Health Trainer
Sussex First Aid courses have teamed up with Olivia-louise Hamilton. A fully insured instructor approved by Mental Health First Aid England. Olivia-louise has a Certificate of Higher Education in Life Sciences, a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care and a Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems.
Olivia-louise has worked with the South East Coast Ambulance Service to help produce a mental health awareness video as well as the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to aid the production of an online training video on how best to support people experiencing a mental health crisis. We offer a range of Mental Health First Aid Courses with Olivia-louise taking the lead.
