This regulated qualification provides training for staff working in clinical practice environments. The course is suitable for both clinical and non‑clinical staff, including receptionists, admin teams, and support staff. Participants do not need to be clinicians to attend.
QA Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator and Management of Anaphylaxis (Adults) in Clinical Practice

Training includes basic life support (including CPR and AED use) as well as recognising and responding to and managing Anaphylaxis common and everyday medical emergencies.

This qualification is intended for everyone who works in a clinical practice environment including administration and support staff. The Learner does not need to be a clinician. It can also be used as part of your continual professional development (CPD) programme.

Designed for individuals who have a responsibility to recognise and manage anaphylaxis in the workplace, clinical environments, at home, or within voluntary and community settings. Learners will gain the knowledge and practical understanding required to recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and respond effectively in an emergency.

This qualification has been designed for those who are Aesthetic Practitioners and have a specific responsibility at work or home to provide basic life support and manage anaphylaxis when dealing with an emergency.
