Sussex First Aid Courses Ltd  provides training and consultancy in Dentist CPD Medical Emergences, First Aid at Work, Fire Safety, Food Safety and Manual Handling.

We are currently looking for a experienced trainers in First Aid, Dentist CPD medical emergencies, Food Safety, Manual Handling and Fire Safety to join our team of bank or freelance trainers who provide additional capacity when required.


If you’re passionate about training and have a proven track record in course delivery and a recognised adult teaching qualification, then we would like  to hear from you.


Trainers will be responsible for:

  • The delivery of both accredited and non-accredited health and safety training programmes to a broad and varied audience.

  • Using their own transport to travel to venues across the Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London.

  • Must be able to work with existing courses including lesson plans, course programmes, presentations and other course materials as required and to meet the needs of both customers and the business.

  • Ensuring the health and safety of themselves and others whilst at work and follow company policies and procedures at all times.


Trainers Requirements:

  • Recognised qualification in Education and Training or recognised exemption.

  • Current FAW / EFAW Certificates

  • Laptop & projector.

  • Adult/Junior/Baby CPR Manikins.

  • Minimum 2 yrs training experience. 

  • Full UK driving licence / Proof ID & Address. 

  • Excellent practical training skills. 

  • Fun, engaging & dynamic training style.

  • Experience of teaching first aid at work courses on a regular basis (EFAW, FAW, FAWR)

  • Access to your own vehicle and the willingness to travel.

  • The ability to work flexibly.

  • The ability to work without direct supervision.

  • Experience of teaching OFSTED/EYFS Paediatric first aid courses.

  • The successful candidate will be required to provide an up to date DBS disclosure.

  • Training AED units and all Training materials.


It would be beneficial if you also had the following:

  • To be a registered trainer with Qualsafe Awards or a similar organisation.

  • The ability to deliver a range of other health and safety courses such as fire and general safety.

  • A recognised people moving and handling trainer qualification.

  • Other relevant health and safety/health and social care qualifications.
