Introduction
Sussex First Aid Courses Ltd provides specialist training and consultancy in Dental Teams CPD Medical Emergencies and First Aid at Work training.
We are currently looking for experienced trainers in First Aid and Dental Teams CPD medical emergencies training to join our team of bank freelance trainers.
We are partially interested in trainers when proven delivery and have the underpinning knowledge in delivering Dental team’s medical emergency CPD training.
This should include underpinning knowledge of all emergency medications that may need to be administered by the dental teams.
If you’re passionate about training and have excellent communication and customer care skills with a proven track record in course delivery then we would like to hear from you.
Trainers will be responsible for:

The delivery of both accredited and non-accredited health and safety training programmes to a broad and varied audience.

Using their own transport to travel to venues across the Sussex, Surrey, Portsmouth, Kent and London areas

Must be able to work with existing courses including lesson plans, course programmes, presentations and other course materials as required and to meet the needs of both customers and the business.

Ensuring the health and safety of themselves and others whilst at work and follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Trainers Requirements:

Recognised qualification in Education and Training or recognised exemption.

Current FAW / EFAW Certificates
-
Laptop & projector.
-
Adult/Junior/Baby CPR Manikins (4 x Adult - 2 x Junior- 4 x Baby)
-
Training AED units and all Training materials. (2 x Training AED Units)

Choking Trainer Rescue Vest
-
Auto injector Training pens for Anaphylaxis training.

Minimum 2 year’s training experience.

Full UK driving licence / Proof ID & Address.

Excellent practical training skills.

Fun, engaging & dynamic training style.

Excellent customer care skills.

Experience of teaching first aid at work courses on a regular basis (EFAW, FAW, FAWR)

Access to your own vehicle and the willingness to travel.

The ability to work flexibly.

The ability to work without direct supervision.

Experience of teaching Dental Teams CPD courses.

The successful candidate will be required to provide an up-to-date DBS disclosure.
It would be beneficial if you also had the following:
To be a registered trainer with Qualsafe Awards or a similar organisation.
