Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling

Employers have a responsibility to ensure that employees who undertake manual handling activities receive appropriate information, instruction and training to help them work safely.

It is suitable for a wide range of workplaces and industries, including warehouses, shops, offices and other environments where employees may be required to lift, carry, move or handle objects as part of their role.

Unlike our Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling  half-day course, this qualification includes practical assessment and hands-on moving and handling techniques.
It is therefore more appropriate for employees whose roles regularly involve physical manual handling activities.
