Principles of manual handling
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the opportunity to develop their understanding of the principles of safer manual handling.
Intended Audience:
The QA Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling (RQF) qualification has been specifically designed for all employees to help raise their awareness of the risks associated with unsafe manual handling practices.
It is also ideal for those who might have to carry out manual handling as part of their job such as handling deliveries, parcels and boxes.
Course Overview:
Over a half day period, successful Learners will develop a greater awareness of manual handling, including: common manual handling injuries, the safe movement principles, theory of safe manual handling principles and manual handling equipment.

Qualifications:
Ofqual accreditation level 2 award in principles of manual handling qualification.
We are a Qualsafe training centre which means our courses are approved and recognised by Ofqual accreditation.
We can conduct this course at your venue or at our venue to suit your needs.
Group rates (max 12 people)
Please note that this qualification does not include pratical sessions. Those requiring practical training should undertake the QA Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF).
