The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Suicide Awareness and Prevention (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for those who wish to develop their understanding of suicide prevention and increase their awareness of suicide in their professional lives.
Throughout this 3-hour course, learners will develop their awareness of the factors that may lead to suicidal thoughts and behaviours and provide knowledge of the key components of suicide prevention.
Organisations should ensure staff remain familiar with changes, legislation, guidance, policies and procedures through appropriate training, Refreshers and ongoing Continuing Professional Development. (CPD).
