Award in awareness and management of anaphylaxis
This qualification has been designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, clinical setting at home or in voluntary and community activities, to provide care and manage anaphylaxis when dealing with an emergency.
Successful candidates will be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, and will be equipped with the vital skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective treatment.
The course can also be used as part of your continual professional development (CPD) programme.
This course is great for all health care professionals and can be adapted to meet you're training needs.

Simulated demonstration of drawing up the appropriate dose of adrenaline 1:1000 IM injection (if within scope of practice) and safe disposal of sharps
