Level 3 Combined Emergency Paediatric and Adult First Aid at Work Course

Designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace. Successful completion of this qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give effective first aid in emergency situations.

We can facilitate the delivery of both our Level 3 adult award in emergency first aid at work and Level 3 award in emergency paediatric first aid together in 1 day.  After successful course completion, the learner will receive two certificates, one for each qualification.

The combined course is for people who have a specific responsibility at work to maintain adequate first aid provision for both employees (adults) and paediatrics in their care. This combined course allows the learner to gain both qualifications in 1 day rather than sitting each qualification individually over 2 days!

The QA Level 2 Award in First Aid Essentials qualification has been designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic first aid to people they are caring for when dealing with an emergency.

Anaphylaxis awareness & emergency management first aid training

Designed for individuals who have a responsibility to recognise and manage anaphylaxis in the workplace, clinical environments, at home, or within voluntary and community settings. Learners will gain the knowledge and practical understanding required to recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis and respond effectively in an emergency.

Training includes: Providing safe & appropriate treatment, including the use of adrenaline auto-injectors.

This course enables first aiders to refresh their existing knowledge, practise essential lifesaving skills, and update their training in line with the latest first aid guidelines and procedures. During the two-day course, delegates will revisit key first aid techniques and develop the confidence to manage a wide range of workplace medical emergencies.

This course is for learners who wish to update or refresh their basic life support (BLS) skills, it is also for those who have a duty of care such as health care professionals. The course can also be used as part of your continual professional development (CPD) programme.

Designed for people who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide adult, child or infant basic life support (BLS), safely use a defibrillator (AED) and provide management of anaphylaxis. The qualification and learning outcomes are based on the recommendations of the Resuscitation Council (UK) and a distinguished panel of experts in emergency medical care. Successful Learners will develop the practical competencies needed to provide adult, child and infant BLS, safely use an AED and manage a casualty with anaphylaxis. The course will not only refresh your practical skills but will also update you on any resuscitation guideline changes within the previous twelve months.

We can facilitate the delivery of both our QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) and QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) together in 1 day. After successful course completion, the learner will receive two certificates, one for each qualification. We are able to conduct group training sessions at your venue or you may wish to join one of our open public courses of which we run various dates throughout the year.

The First Aid at Work Yearly Refresher Training is specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until requalification training is required. Please note this is not a requalification course. Successful candidates will leave with a renewed confidence, having had the opportunity to practise essential first aid procedures, as well as learn the latest techniques needed to deal with an emergency situation. With all subjects covered in just half a day, this course is an ideal way to satisfy HSE requirements whilst minimising disruption to your organisation’s day to day activities!
