QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) Requalification Course

The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) Requalification Course is designed for qualified workplace first aiders who need to renew their First Aid at Work certificate before it expires.

This course enables first aiders to refresh their existing knowledge, practise essential lifesaving skills, and update their training in line with the latest first aid guidelines and procedures.

During the two-day course, delegates will revisit key first aid techniques and develop the confidence to manage a wide range of workplace medical emergencies.

As a regulated qualification, employers can book this course knowing they have met their legal obligations under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, without needing to carry out additional due diligence checks.

Course Overview

This interactive two-day course is delivered using practical demonstrations, scenario-based learning and small group exercises in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The course focuses on the practical management of medical emergencies, ensuring learners refresh their skills and remain confident in responding to incidents in the workplace.

Training includes basic life support (including CPR and AED use) as well as recognising and responding to common workplace injuries and medical conditions.

Qualification

Upon successful completion, delegates will receive:

QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
Valid for 3 years

This qualification is regulated by Ofqual and awarded through Qualsafe Awards.

Qualsafe Approved Training Centre

Sussex First Aid Courses is a Qualsafe Approved Training Centre, meaning all training is delivered to nationally recognised standards and regulated by Ofqual.

Important

This First Aid at Work Requalification course is intended for learners whose existing First Aid at Work certificate is still valid and due for renewal.

If your certificate has already expired, you may need to attend the full three-day First Aid at Work course instead.
