3 Day First Aid at Work

Service Description

The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF) qualification is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. This qualification is now also available In a blended Learning package. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid. ​ We are able to conduct group training sessions at your venue or you may wish to join one of our open public courses of which we run various dates throughout the year. Course programme: This interactive three day course is delivered using small group scenarios, in a friendly environment. It is designed for all those in need of first aid at work training and general first aid training and addresses the practical aspects of managing medical emergencies, whilst bringing delegates up-to-date with the latest standards and procedures. Our comprehensive training covers not only basic life support (including CPR) but also recognition and immediate care for medical emergencies common to the work place and home. Programme includes: The role and responsibilities of a first aider Assessing an incident Managing an unresponsive casualty CPR and AED Recovery Position Heart Attack Stroke Choking Epilepsy Asthma Diabetes Anaphylaxis Shock Head and spinal injuries Chest injuries Wounds and bleeding Fractures Sprains, strains and dislocations Minor injuries Burns and scalds Poisoning Eye injuries Qualifications: Ofqual Accreditation Level 3 FAW first aider at work (3 years) ​ We are a Qualsafe Training Centre which means our courses are approved and recognised by Ofqual Accreditation.  ​

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations Terms: ​ Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your training course and are unable to transfer your booking to another date at the time of cancellation, the following charges will apply: ​Cancellations and Transferring of dates/Names Terms: ​ Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your training course and are unable to transfer your booking to another date at the time of cancellation, the following charges will apply: ​Notifications by email: 21 – 15 days we refund 75% of the course fee. 14 – 8 days we refund 50% of course fee. 7 days or less no refund of course fee. Deductible booking fee before 21 days of £5pp from total refund. Transferring of training date/Name between 14 -8 days £10pp admin fee.
